The GTRA Council Meeting
is an excellent collaboration opportunity across federal
agencies, said Dr. Paul Tibbits, Deputy Chief Information
Officer Office of Enterprise Development, VA. I certainly
plan to use the briefing materials and further the collaboration
with what were doing with the other agencies. Im very
struck with the positive opportunity GTRA represents
for government IT collaboration.
I think that GTRA provides
a valuable service: Bringing people together from different
points of view, said Dennis Wisnosky, Chief Technology
Officer, Chief Enterprise Architect, Department of Defense.
The venue is quite interesting, with speakers to get
the big picture across, while also being able to talk
to individual organizations in government and non-government.
GTRA has great opportunities
and these events keep getting better and better, said
Max Berman, Vice President, Authernative. The business
meeting system works very well. This is a world-class
organization!
"I think the best value
was how we engaged with people at different levels,
and I got to meet a lot of knowledgeable people, said
David Zeppieri, Chief Information Officer, OPIC. GTRA
took down the communication barriers in the intimate
sessions. It was intense, but I enjoyed to intimacy
associated with the social interactions with my peers.
About GTRA: GTRA brings
together executive-level government technology security,
Enterprise Architecture, Green IT, and Health IT leaders
to collaborate, strategize, and create innovative solutions.
The semi-annual GTRA Technology Council Meeting addresses
the topics identified through research with the government
council members and industry experts. By sharing best
practices and lessons learned, knowledge is exchanged
in a peer-to-peer forum, resulting in actionable, government-wide,
strategic plans and cutting-edge solutions. Through
a unique collaborative methodology, GTRA is revolutionizing
the way government does business.
